Freddie Edgar Grubbs, 55, of Liberty, beloved husband of Pamela Nimmons Grubbs, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015 at AnMed Health.
Born December 23, 1959 in Alexandria, Louisiana, he was a son of the late Fred Edgar and Florine Alexander Grubbs. Mr. Grubbs was employed with J. Tekt Automotive for ten years. He was looking forward to retirement, and enjoyed traveling, fishing and camping.
In addition to his wife of nineteen years, he is survived by his daughters, Patsy McDowell (Travis), Pamela Scarborough (Travis), Freda Junkins (Dustin) and Michelle Shaughnessy; brothers, Jerry Grubbs and Jimmy Grubbs; sisters, Patricia Brandt and Rose Leopard (Joey); ten grandchildren, Jayda, Patti "P.J.", Paige, Lexi, Dale, Tristan, Preston, Kaleb, Alanna, and Cole; and beloved in-laws. He was predeceased by a brother, David; a sister, Betty Jean; and a brother-in-law, David Brandt.
Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 16, 2015 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
