Fredrica Owens Youngblood, 94, formerly of Cobb Street, wife of the late John T. Youngblood, passed away Monday, November 15, 2010, at Rosemond Living Center.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Frank and Myrtle Boyd Owens, Mrs. Youngblood retired from the Arial Plant of Alice Manufacturing Company and was a member of Pickens View Wesleyan Church but attended United Wesleyan Church and was a member of the Ladies Bible Class.

Surviving are a brother, J.C. Owens (Grace), of Easley; two sisters, Hazel Turner (Nathan) of Pickens and Frances Holliday (Charles) of Easley. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Youngblood was predeceased by four brothers, Lonnie, Jim, Booner and Harold Owens.

Funeral services will be 3:30 pm Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Lawrence Keever officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The Ladies Bible Class of United Wesleyan Church, the staffs of Rosemond Living Center and Hallmark Hospice are asked to serve as Honorary Escorts.

Visitation will be from 2:30 until 3:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
