Fung Nei Thang

Fung Nei Thang, 54, husband of Nancy Thiang passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Prisma Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC.

Fung was born in Myanmar, a son of Sen Khum and the late Ngun Hngel.  He was a chef with Publix in Clemson and was a member and Deacon of Chin Baptist Church in Greenville.  Fung enjoyed cooking but especially for his family, he was a big fan of soccer and in addition to being a loving family man he loved to be able to help those in need.

Surviving in addition to his wife and father are 3 sons, Chris Lian, Chris Malsawm Tluang and Milan Biaknei Thang all of the home; brothers, Za Biakhu Mang, Van Bik and Blak Hu Thang; and sisters, Zing Thaheli Man, Bual Kip Hoi, Kei Cer Hniang and Sui Hnem Mawi.

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Saturday, April 23, 2023 at Chin Baptist Church, 817 Gordon Street, Greenville, SC 29611.  The body will be placed in the church at 12:30 PM, Saturday prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 586 Issaqueena Trail, Central, SC 29630.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM, Friday, April 22, at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road, Central, SC 29630.
