G. Clint Morgan

Gary Clinton "Clint" Morgan, 85, widower of Pauline Hill Morgan, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Cottingham Hospice House.

Born in Oconee County, he was a son of the late Martin Luther and Bessie Edgar Morgan. Clint was a barber for over 54 years and was best known as the owner and operator of Clint's Barber Shop in Clemson. He was a member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church and was a US Marine Veteran of the Korean War. He was a Past Commandant of the Lewis G. Watkins Chapter of the Marine Corps League in Seneca.

Surviving are his son, Tony Honea (Lynn) of Walhalla, SC; daughters, Wanda Honea Lyda (Ronald "Monk") of Central and Paula Morgan Doolittle (Dirk Lovelace) of Clemson, SC; sisters, Jean Jennings and Betty Compton of Seneca, SC; grandchildren, Kellie Bell, Mandy Stamper, Kristen Childs, Josh Honea and Tish Winchester; and 6 great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, Clint was predeceased by a son Jerry Honea.

Memorial services will be 2 PM, Saturday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial in Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:50 PM, Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.

The family will be at the home of his daughter Wanda Lyda, 306 Pike Road, Central, SC 29630.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Foothills.
