Gail C. Tollison, 87, of Easley, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025. Born Eleanor Gail Collins in Greenville, SC at St. Francis Hospital to the late Ernest Edward Collins and the late Ruby Hayden Garrett. Gail was a remarkable woman whose indelible spirit and devotion to family, friends, and community made her a beloved figure to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She adored her grandchildren, who lovingly called her, "Mama Gail".

As a devoted member of Easley First Baptist Church and a part of the Don Jones Sunday School Class and WMU, Gail found immense joy in her faith and deeply valued her church community. Her servant's heart was manifest in her unwavering support for those around her, always seeking to uplift and inspire. She genuinely enjoyed treating others, often going above and beyond to make everyone feel cherished and welcomed.

She was known for her impeccable taste and style, often noted as a great dresser and a true Southern belle, effortlessly exuding an aura of charm and sophistication. Gail’s personal life was marked by her love for those around her. A lady of a truly classy disposition, she radiated warmth and kindness, best exemplified by her vibrant social nature. Whether entertaining friends or indulging in her passions for cooking and baking, she always ensured that her home was a haven of warmth and hospitality.

In all facets of her life, Gail maintained a pristine household, adhering to the particular standards she set for herself. Her attention to detail, coupled with her generous spirit, served as a testament to her character: she bore the qualities of a strong matriarch, combining elegance with affection.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Carson Tollison; brother, Gary A. Collins (Patricia); nephew, Brock Collins and her son's father, Walter Eugene Tollison.

She is survived by her son, Christopher "Chris" Edward Tollison (Stephanie); grandchildren, Garrett and Ellie Tollison; Kory and Adam Griggs; niece, Michelle Page (Pete) and nephew, Anthony Collins (Sondra Hellund) and a very special sister-in-law Maxine Tollison.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 11:45 AM Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Easley First Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. In memory and true Gail style a free meal will be provided 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church for all who would like to attend. Entombment will be held at 2:45 PM in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
