Gale Sides Johnson, 69, of 105 Georgewood Dr., wife of C.L. Johnson, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born June 3, 1943 in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Willis Sides and Sarah Bond Sides. Mrs. Johnson was a graduate of the Dental Assistant Program at Greenville Tech and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband of 44 years, she is survived by her son Chris Johnson and wife Cindy; granddaughter, Morgan Johnson; and sisters, Dale Robinson and Ann Schaeffer.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Wednesday, November 7, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral home-Powdersville Road with Reverend Dr. David Gallamore officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM Wednesday prior the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 2030 North Church Place, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
