Garlon Lawrence King, Jr., 76, of 226 Artie Drive, husband of Lou Ellen Richard King, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the Hospice House of Anderson.
Mr. King was born in Greenville, a son of the late G.L. King Sr. and Eva Mason King. Mr. King retired from Alice Manufacturing Company - Elljean Plant and attended United Wesleyan Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Iris Bagwell, of Pickens ; sons, Thomas, Anthony and Mitchell King, all of Pickens ; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, with the Reverend Tim Jones and the Reverend Donnie Massingill officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
