Gary Franklin Grant

Gary Franklin Grant, 62, of Central, passed away September 1, 2026.

Born in Easley, SC, he was the son of David F. Grant and the late Ollie Mae Grant. Gary graduated from D.W. Daniel High School and worked for Champion Aerospace in Liberty until his retirement. He was a member of the NWTF and enjoyed hunting and fishing. His happiest days were spent in a tree stand or with a fishing pole in his hand sharing stories and laughter with family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Kansas Gutierrez and husband, Marvin Gutierrez of Greenville; grandchildren, Izaak and Ariana; great-grandson, Angelo; father, David F. Grant of Central.

Gary is predeceased by his mother, Ollie Mae Grant and brothers, Michael Grant and Donnie Grant.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 7, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Welcome Baptist Church Cemetery.
