Gayle Lynn Welever McBride, 62 wife of William F McBride died peacefully in her home December 8, 2017.
Born in Akron, Ohio she was the eldest daughter of the late Donald Eugene Welever and Ruth Juan Welever Sliger.
Gayle grew up in Hudson, Ohio attending Hudson high school where she was involved in the marching band, theater and Girl Scouts. After high school, she move to Ann Arbor, Michigan where she became a huge Michigan Wolverine fan. Leaving Michigan, she settled in Charleston, South Carolina living on Folly Beach. She retired from Publix grocery store as the deli manager. Gayle enjoyed collecting Griswold cast iron pink flamingos and Barbies. She also enjoyed traveling to the beach. Gayle's words of wisdom are "know your seven P's prior, proper, planning, prevents, piss poor performance" and "go blue".
In addition to her husband, Gayle leaves behind son, Sean Moriarty of Waterberry, Connecticut; brother, Guy Welever of Hudson, Ohio; sisters, Janice Hoover of South Carolina and Robin Stavroff of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; grandsons Zachary and Noah Francisco; and many nieces and nephews.
