Genethel Macie Thomas Harrison, 78, of 103 McCollum Street, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Oconee County, a daughter of the late Burns Allen and Annie Pearl Rogers Thomas, Mrs. Harrison retired from Gerber Corp. and was a member of Easley Church of God.

Surviving are her husband, Alvin S. Harrison of the home; two sons, Butch Harrison (and fiancee, Karen) and Michael Harrison (and fiancee, Naomi), all of Easley; two daughters, Lisa Adams (Bobby) and Pam Smith (Greg), all of Easley; a sister, Laverne T. McCall of Goldsboro, NC; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harrison was predeceased by two sisters, Shelby Jean Weaver and Avanell Thomas.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Easley Church of God with Rev. Dr. David Sustar officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.

The family is at the home of Pam and Greg Smith, 114 Glenn Burnie Drive, Easley, SC 29642.
