Geneva Stansell Hamilton, 82, of 114 McDaniel Drive, Apt. 9, wife of Larry Hightower, died Wednesday, July 28 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Dean E. and Vivian Virgie Freeman Stansell. She was a retired employee of the Easley Heath Care and was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, David R. (Rena) Rowland of Liberty and James E. (Joyce) Rowland of Easley; one daughter, Wanda (George) Faye Tate of Easley; 4 grandchildren, Chris (Tammy) Rowland, Laura (Tommy) Anderson, Tim (Staci) Tate, Stephen Rowland; 6 great-grandchildren, Briana Harrington, Brittanie Rowland, Bethanie Rowland, Brayden Rowland, Katie Anderson, Weston Tate; and 1 great-great-grandchild, Jeremiah Harrington.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday at Solid Rock Baptist Church with Revs. Brian Terry, James Rowland, and George Tate officiating.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM, Friday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
The family is at the home of David R. and Rena Rowland, 204 Cone Drive, Liberty, SC 29657.
