Geneva Smith Lawless, 90, passed away at Cottingham Hospice House on Monday, December 22, 2014.
Mrs. Lawless was born in South Pittsburg, TN, a daughter of the late Grant and Myrtle Dobbins Smith. She retired after thirty years service with USDA and the Ravenel Research Center at Clemson University and was a member of Clemson First Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Gregory Lawless of Clemson and a daughter, Emily Eckelman of Travelers Rest; two grandchildren, Erik S. and Emerson G. Eckelman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J Lawless and a brother, Phillip Smith.
The family will have a gathering of friends and family at a later date.
