Geneva Kay Pinion

Mrs. Agnes Geneva Kay Pinion, 100, wife of the late Roy Henry Pinion, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, August 27, 2021.
Born in Pickens County, the daughter of the late Perry Kay and the late Belle Nelson Kay, Mrs. Pinion retired from Alice Manufacturing Company and was a charter member of Park Street Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was the oldest church member. Geneva enjoyed Bible Study, crocheting and sewing, but her greatest love was for her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Surviving are two sons, Charles H. Pinion of Easley, and Perry A. Pinion of Richmond, VA; two daughters, Joyce Fay Knight of Liberty, and Lois May Holder (Louis) of Central; a son-in-law, Mike Boone of Easley; a brother, Paul Kay of Easley; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and eighteen great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Pinion was predeceased by a daughter, Diane Boone; one brother, Edward Kay; two sisters, Frances Evatt and Christine Brown; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Monday, August 30, 2021 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Scroll to the video player below to view the service. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM Monday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
