Geneva M. Waldrop

Geneva Martin Waldrop, 94, wife of the late John "J.P." Phillip Waldrop, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, October 1, 2017.
Born in White County, AR, the daughter of the late Hiram and Rothie Soper Martin, Mrs. Waldrop retired from Stayon and was a charter member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church, where she belonged to the Sunshine Sunday School Class.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Louise Waldrop of Easley; twelve nieces and nephews; fourteen great nieces and nephews; and seven great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Waldrop was predeceased by six brothers, B.J., Paul, Edwin, Orfa, H.C., and Dick Martin; and three sisters, Virginia Moser, Doris Taylor, and Audrey Seibert.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Pendleton Street Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, October 2, 2017 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
