G. Richard "Dick" Colby

G. Richard "Dick" Colby, 95, husband of Vivian Hirsch Colby, of Easley, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023.

Born in Rochester, NY, he was the son of the late Benjamin Joshua and Katherine Joanna Goodrich Colby.

He was a member of Easley First Baptist Church.

In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Colby is survived by a daughter-in-law, Angela Springer; grandchildren, Elizabeth Hardin (Kevin), Aimee O'Kelley (Tyler), and Jesse Springer; a sister, Dorothy Mae Fuller; a niece, Becky Weir (Steve); a nephew, Dan Fuller (Salley); and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his stepson, Thomas Michael Springer.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Easley First Baptist Church.
