George Wrigley III, 59, died December 5, 2006.
Born in Greenville, Mr. Wrigley was the son of the late George Wrigley, Jr. and the late Charlotte Patton Wrigley. He graduated from Wade Hampton High School and Wofford College. Mr. Wrigley was an inventor and a solar energy enthusiast. He was an accomplished artist, musician and member of The Shilohs, a folk music group.
Surviving are two sisters, Ann Wrigley Benner and Caroline Wrigley Schroder, both of Greenville.
Memorial services will be 4:00 P.M. Friday, December 22, 2006, in the Markley Chapel of Christ Church Episcopal with the Reverend Kathryn T. Hottinger officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Way of Greenville County, 105 Edinburgh Court, Greenville, S.C. 29607.
