George Lynn McCollum, age 89, of Easley, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

He was born on February 22, 1935 to Pattarafoy and Dorothy Bernice McCollum. He attended Cross Roads Baptist Church in addition to being a Shriner and Mason. He enjoyed working on cars and on his family farm.

Lynn is survived by his loving wife, Willie Mae Alexander McCollum; his daughter, DeLynne Cox (David); and two granddaughters, Maddisen Howerin (Jake), and Morgan Cox.

He is predeceased by his parents; his brother, William Clifton (W.C.) McCollum; and his sister, Frances McCollum Purcell.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
