Mr. George Dale Whitt, 69, passed away Friday May 6, 2022.

Born in Seneca, SC, the son of the late Morris Sperling Whitt and the late Cherry Ann Hix Whitt, Mr. Whitt was a graduate of Seneca High School, Anderson Junior College and Clemson University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Parks and Recreation. He was employed with Whitt Mobile Homes and of the Baptist faith.

Dale loved the outdoors, especially riding through the mountains, but his greatest love was for his family and the Clemson Tigers.

Surviving are his daughter, Kayla Powell of Pickens; his sister, Anne Smith of Lexington; his grandson, Kyle Fennell of Pickens; his niece, Andrea Bolling of Lexington; and his great-niece, Taylor Bolling of Lexington.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Robinson Memorial Gardens. His daughter requests that attendees wear their Clemson attire.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM Tuesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, prior to the graveside service.
