Gerald Lewis Gilstrap, Jr., 48, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at Brian Center Health and Rehab of Brevard, in North Carolina.
Born in San Antonio, TX, to Gerald Lewis Gilstrap, Sr., and the late Linda Redmon Gilstrap, Gerald worked for Clyde Morgan Alignment Company as a mechanic and was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a sister, Jerri G. Channell (Ronnie), of Easley; and step-mother, Martha Gilstrap.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Cross Roads Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.
A visitation will be from 1:30 P.M. until 2:45 P.M. Saturday, prior to the service at the church.
The family is at the residence.
Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to the Cross Roads Baptist Church Building Fund, 160 Cross Roads Church Road, Easley, SC 29640.
