Mr. Gerald Alvin "Shoe String" Hendricks, 69, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at his home.
Born in Greenville County, a son of the late Henry Theodore "H.T." Hendricks and the late Nora Virginia Ray Hendricks, Mr. Hendricks was self employed and a member of Blue Ridge View Baptist Church.
Surviving are a brother, Robert Earl Hendricks (Louise) of Liberty; and a sister, Wanda Deloris H. Caughman of Liberty. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hendricks was predeceased by a brother, Perry Calvin Hendricks; and a sister, Martha Gail Cash.
The family will host a memorial service at 7:00 PM Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Blue Ridge View Baptist Church, 745 Wolf Creek Road, Pickens, SC 29671.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at the church, prior to the service.
Family members are at their respective homes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blue Ridge View Baptist Church, 745 Wolf Creek Road, Pickens, SC 29671.
