Gerald Bailey "Jerry" Wyatt, 73, of W.T. Wyatt Road, loving husband of Adrie Stewart Wyatt, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, October 19, 2018.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late W.T. and Ethyl Attaway Wyatt.
Mr. Wyatt was a graduate of Wren High School and retired from BellSouth. He was a hard working man and following retirement owned and operated The Wyatt Allstate Agency and Wyatt Timeless Interiors in Powdersville. He was a member Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, the Fellowship Sunday School Class, The Gideons, Board of Directors with the Three and Twenty Fire Department and was a US Army Reserve Veteran.
But in life, his greatest accomplishment was when he got down on his knees in a vegetable garden, with Reverend Gary Cooper, and gave his heart to Christ.
In addition to his wife of 53 years, he is survived by his children, Gerald Bailey Wyatt, Jr. (Tracy) and Terri Wyatt Tollison (Ron) all of Easley; grandchildren, Daniel, Aaron and Sarah Wyatt and Gavin Tollison; a sister, Ann Gibson of Easley and James Wyatt of Nokesville, VA.
Mr. Wyatt was predeceased by sisters, Kathleen Albright, Laura Nell Noble, Sarah Brown and Doris Massengale; and brothers, W.T., Marion and Harold Wyatt.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 101 Mt. Pisgah Road, Easley, SC 29642.
The family will be at the home.
