Geraldean Jones Pendleton

Geraldean Barker Jones, 64, wife of Henry Spratt Jones, died January 23, 2007 at the Hospice House in Anderson. She was a native of Pickens County and was the daughter of the late Norvin N. and Bertha Lee Gilstrap Barker. She was a member of Refuge Baptist Church and was a former employee of Pratt Reed and retired from J.P. Stevens. She was also a member of the Ready and Recharged Red Hatters Society.

Surviving in addition to her husband are son Henry Allen Jones and wife Jaye of West Union, daughter Shiela Wood and husband John of Pendleton, brothers Doyle C. Barker and Kenneth B. Barker both of Six Mile, sisters Margaret Black and Joyce Durham of Six Mile, and grandson Joshua Jones of Central and his fiancé Jessica Sanchez. She was predeceased by her brothers James Barker and Charles Haywood Barker, and sisters Dorothy Welborn and Betty Whitaker.

Funeral Services will be Friday, January 26, 2007, at 2pm at Refuge Baptist Church. The body is at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Thursday, January 25, 2007 from 6-8pm and will be placed in the church on Friday at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Refuge Baptist Church, P. O. Box 301, Pendleton, SC 29670, or to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.

The family is at the home of 511 E. Main Street, Pendleton, SC 29670.
