Geraldine “Dean” Blackstock Davidson, 80, of Easley, South Carolina passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
Dean, as she was affectionately known, was born in Greenville, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Lewis Blackstock and the late Allie Lawson Blackstock. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ronald “Bud” Edward Davidson; a son, Steve “Tiny” Davidson; one brother, Jerry Blackstock; and a sister, Gail Mathis.
Dean was a devoted Christian lady, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of St, Paul United Methodist Church, and a retired office clerk with Shealy Electrical. She was also an avid reader. She was proud of her sons and never missed a sporting event that they were playing in. In her later years, she loved to travel and always wanted to travel to the west coast to see the beauty of the Pacific Ocean. Her son, Chuck, had the privilege to make her dream come true and they created priceless memories on this remarkable trip. To know her was to love her and she will be greatly missed by all.
Left to cherish Dean’s many memories are her son and daughter-in-law, Chuck, and Katie Davidson; two granddaughters that she loved dearly, Elena and Ella Davidson.
