Mrs. Geraldine Ladd Minnich, 74, of 300 Preston Street, Easley, loving wife of Richard Minnich, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at her daughter's residence.

Mrs. Minnich was born in Liberty, SC on May 2, 1940 to the late Robert and Willie Mae Owens Ladd. She graduated from Liberty High School and worked as a weaver at Woodside Mill, along with many of the mills around Pickens County. She loved to read, and always made sure she kept a spotless home. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and was a member of Calumet Baptist Church in Liberty.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son; Robbie Lee Stancil and his wife Stacy, of Easley; one daughter; Lisa Dee Stancil and her boyfriend Craig Chapman, of Easley; three brothers; Bobby Ladd and his wife Ruth Ann; Ronnie Ladd and his wife Brenda; and Jimmy Ladd and his wife Elaine, all of Liberty; and three sisters; Martha Gray and Helen McCollum, both of Easley, and Louise Crowe and her husband B.H., of Liberty. Mrs. Minnich is also survived by four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother; Wade Ladd; and one sister; Ruth Ann Bryant.

A Graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 10:30 until 11:30 AM.

The family is at their respective homes.
