Geraldine "Gerrie" Johnson Raines

Mrs. Geraldine "Gerrie" Johnson Raines, 91, wife of the late Arthur Warren Raines, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, May 31, 2026.

Born in Oconee County, a daughter of the late Lawrence Sylvester Johnson and the late Thelma Fowler Johnson, Mrs. Raines retired from Alice Manufacturing Company with thirty-two years of service and was of the Baptist faith.

Gerrie loved and life and making new friends, she never met a stranger. Her greatest love was for her family. She will be dearly missed by all that loved and knew her.

Surviving are her son; one sister; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter; two brothers and five sisters.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, June 4, 2026 at the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery, Easley.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Gerrie to the charity of one's choice.
