Geraldine Hendricks Raxter, 93, of 178 Cribbs Way, wife of the late Jethro A. Raxter, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Transylvania County, NC, Mrs. Raxter was the daughter of the late George W. and Estelle Hubbard Hendricks. She graduated from Rosman High School, and she retired from Swirl Manufacturing after 27 years of service. Mrs. Raxter was a member of Nine Forks Baptist Church and was a talented artist with multiple drawings and painting displayed throughout Pickens and Transylvania Counties.
Surviving are a son, Charles Raxter (Angee) of Easley; a daughter, Gail O'Shields (Jerry) of Liberty; four grandchildren, Tracey Allison (Terry), Jessica Partridge (Michael), Chance Raxter, and Chelsea Raxter; and four great-grandchildren, Azure Allison, Lyric Allison, Landon Partridge, and Bren Partridge.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Nine Forks Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at the church.
Flowers will be accepted.
The family will be at their respective homes.
