Geriann Madar Miller

Geriann Madar Miller, 86, wife of William N. Miller, of Simpsonville, SC, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2026.

Born in Bridgeport, CT, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Matilda Kochiss Madar.

Geriann retired from her position as a secretary with the State of Connecticut's Probation Office. After retiring, she continued to help others by working as a home health aide in Maine for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Simpsonville, SC.

She loved spending time outdoors, tending to her flowers in the garden feeding the birds. She also enjoyed watching baseball and cheering on the New York Mets with her family.

In addition to her loving husband of 65 years, Geriann is survived by her sons, William L. Miller of Simpsonville, SC and Mark L. Miller (Melissa) of Cleveland, SC; her brothers, Daniel Madar (Harriet) and Joseph Madar (Nancy); her sisters, Patricia Negri (Sam) and Linda Madar; and six grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Rita Petrucceli and Bernice Barba.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2026 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Simpsonville.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2026 at Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown.
