Mr. Gerald Michael "Gerry" Baker, 57, of Easley, husband of Diane Carter Baker, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 at his home.
Born September 18, 1954 in Boston, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Bobby and Evelyn Baker. Mr. Baker was a veteran of the US Army, an avid musician, loved playing golf and the Clemson Tigers.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Aaron M. Baker (Alison Pressley); grandchildren, Vance, Ryann Leigh, and Nathaniel; brothers, David, Jon and Harold Baker, nephew Chris Baker (Stacey); and great-niece, Brittany.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 21, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 West Georgia Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29680, or Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Rd., Greenville, SC 29607.
