Gertrude Nadine Williams, 91, of Clemson, died Tuesday, June 17, at the Hospice of the Upstate Hospice House in Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband who died May 31 of this year, and grandson Todd Barton, of Seattle, who died June 10.
She is survived by three children and their spouses, Ann and Don Fuhr of Seneca, Tom and Nancy Williams of Durango, Colorado, and David and Pam Williams of Fernandina Beach, Florida, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Gertrude was a former music teacher, church organist, children's librarian and above all, a much beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. The family wishes to express gratitude for the love and support received from our caregivers, our church families, and our friends. Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621 or Hospice of the Foothills, 390 Keowee School Road, Seneca, SC 29672. The family will hold a private service.
