Ginger Lee Skelton, 61, of Central, SC died Thursday, November 24, 2016 in Travelers Rest, SC.
Born in Anderson and raised in Clemson, SC, Ginger was the daughter of B.R. Skelton and the late Odetta Campbell Skelton. Ginger was a graduate of D.W. Daniel High School and was a Supervisor in Food Service with Aramark at Clemson University for many years. Prior to working at Clemson University, she was a manager at W.J. Brea’s in Clemson.
Surviving are her father, B.R. (Vickie) Skelton of Six Mile; sister, Dana S. Winslette of Shellman Bluff, GA; brothers, John (Johnnie) Skelton of Macon, GA and Will (Meg) Skelton of Castle Rock, CO; and a nephew Jack Skelton of Macon, GA.
Thoughtful, kind and caring, Ginger touched many lives. She loved her family and friends more than anything. She considered her Aramark coworkers to be like family. Among her many cherished friends, were her Georgia coast friends. Ginger spent many happy days boating and visiting with her Georgia friends and her sister, Dana. Ginger was happiest at the beach with a good book.
Memorial services will be 11 AM, Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
