Gladell Roper Trotter, 85, wife of the late James (J.T.) Thomas Trotter passed away March 12, 2014 at her home.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Rufus Charlie and Mattie Gibson Roper. Mrs. Trotter was a homemaker and a member of Enon Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons Steve Trotter (Carolyn), Tommy Trotter (Janet), and Cecil Trotter (Anita); nine grandchildren, Lynn Hatcher (Bubba), Keith Trotter, Kiley Trotter, Dillon Trotter (Candace), Clay Trotter, James Trotter, Thomas Trotter, Jeremy Honea, and Rachelle Turner; and seven great-grandchildren, Austin Hatcher, Carson Hatcher, Caleb Hatcher, Drake Galloway, Mileke Jackson, Landon Trotter, and Miles Trotter. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Trotter was predeceased by six brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Enon Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.

Entombment will follow service in Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.
