Mrs. Gladys Carolyn Perkins Baldwin, 66, wife of Ivan Leroy Baldwin, Jr., passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at her home.
Born in Swords Creek, VA, a daughter of the late Leonard and Lovera Ester Miller Perkins, Mrs. Baldwin was a graduate of Easley High School and retired from Libery Denim. She was a member of Lenhardt Christian Fellowship where she served as the church pianist for many years.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of twenty-seven years, are two sons, Ivan Leroy Baldwin, III (Annette) of Conway, and Ian John Baldwin (Nicole) of Liberty; four daughters, Julie McFadden (Pete) of Six Mile, Destiny Baldwin of the home, Jeanne' Morris of Clemson, and Shawna Baldwin (Michael) of Easley; three brothers, Rev. Harry Perkins (Lynn) of Easley, and Larry Perkins (Ann) of Marietta, and Lennie Black of Easley; a sister, Kathy Page (Tommy) of Easley; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Baldwin was predeceased by a son, Timothy Stephen "J.J." Lesley and a brother, Ernest McDavid Perkins.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Monday, March 6, 2017 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Harry Perkins and Rev. John Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
