Mrs. Gladys Crowe Brown, 82, widow of Earnest A. Brown, died July 14, 2006 at her residence.
Born in Pickens County, Mrs. Brown was a daughter of the late Lunny H. and Nettie Holcombe Crowe. Mrs. Brown was a lifelong member of Tabor United Methodist Church in Easley.
Survivors are: one son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Libby Brown; one sister, Mrs. J. T. (Irene) Chastain; and one grandson, Josh Brown, all of Easley. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her son, James Robert Brown; a grandson, James Lee Brown; a brother, Lawrence Crowe; and two sisters, Mrs. Hub (Ressie) Covil and Mrs. Ralph (Jannelle) Brewer.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with the Reverend Roger Gwinn officiating.
Visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:45 Sunday prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Tabor United methodist Church Building Fund, C/O Carol Dickard, 242 Mulberry Road, Easley, SC 29640.
The family is at the home, 409 West 3rd Avenue, Easley.
Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
