Gladys Elizabeth Durham Dorsey, 84, of 1102 Farrs Bridge Road, died Tuesday, October 9, 2007, at the Hospice House of Anderson.
Born in Oconee County, Mrs. Dorsey was a daughter of the late Plumer Pascal "Gabe" and Julia Cora Satterfield Durham. She retired from the Arial Plant of Alice Mfg. Company and was employed with Rogers Daycare in Easley.
Mrs. Dorsey was a member of East Pickens Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery.
Surviving are three sisters, Virginia Beatrice Hayes of Liberty, Helen Louise Finley of Dacusville, and Katherine D. Brown of Myrtle Beach; a special niece, Lucinda Ouzts and her daughter Cheyenne Mulkey. Mrs. Dorsey was predeceased by her husband, Felce Dorsey; and two brothers, Pascal Vernon Durham and John C. Durham.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
Family members are at their respective homes.
