Gladys McCoy Ellison, 84, of Brandon, Fl and widow of G. Brooks Ellison, died Friday, August 15, 2008 in Brandon, FL.
Born in Easley, a daughter of the late John P. and Pearl Cox McCoy, she was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are: a sister-in-law, Virginia E. Cely of Easley.
In addition to her husband and mother and father, she was predeceased by: one brother, Roy L. McCoy and wife Hazel Ellison McCoy; two sisters, Marie M. Ferguson and husband, Milton, and Sarah M. Jameson and husband, Carl.
Cryptside services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Doyle Kay officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
