Mrs. Gladys Eades Howard, 73, wife of the late Jacob Carl Howard, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Majesty Health and Rehab.
Born in Oconee County a daughter of the late Rev. J.B. and Zona Scroggs Eades, Mrs. Howard was a homemaker and a member of New Harvest Church of God.
Surviving are two sons, Joel Carl Howard of Easley and Rev. Channing Craig Howard (Amanda) of Stilwell, OK; one daughter, Cynthia Delores Farley of Central; four brothers, Paul, Waymon, Hilton and Milford Eades; two sisters, Clara Bell Smith and Ruth Hester; and five grandchildren, Cianna, Matthew, Ashlee, Zechariah and Emily Howard. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Howard was predeceased by a son, Julian Denver Howard; two brothers, John and J.W. Eades, and one sister, Blanche Simmons.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Channing Craig Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Cynthia Farley, 105 Thelma Lane, Central, SC 29630.
