Gladys Moore Smith, 96, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Pardee Memorial Hospital in Hendersonville, NC.
Mrs. Smith was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Duard L. and Rosa Madden Moore and wife of the late Ted Smith.
She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sister, Elizabeth Bergt of Las Vegas, NV, and her sister-in-law Imogene Moore of Central.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers, Horace and Leland Moore.
Graveside services will be at 4:00 PM Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Lawrence Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:15 PM on Sunday prior to the service at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
