Glenda Joyce Davis

Glenda Joyce Bowens Davis, 80, of Easley, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023.

Born in Easley, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Ella Fair Webb Bowens.

Mrs. Davis was a member of the Lady Madonnas in Philadelphia, PA and attended Christ Place Baptist Church in Easley, SC. She loved her family and was caretaker for her mother and brother.

Mrs. Davis is survived by sons, George Davis (Teresa), Gregory Davis (Ruth), both of Easley, and Glenn Davis (Felicia White) of Philadelphia, PA; a daughter, Marlene Stokes of Easley; brothers, Leroy Bowens, Jr. and Bernard Bowens; grandchildren, Porsha Mansell, Wesley and Taylor Davis, Ronnie, Geoffrey, and Leon Stokes, Amber and Laneika Davis, Lashonah White, Romyel Mitchell, Wahkeem Gaines, and Tiara Davis; 25 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Glenn Davis, Jr.; a brother, Rudy Gene Bowens; and sisters, Betty Jean Bowens Holloway and Sarah Bowens.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown. 

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the funeral home.
