Glinor Jean Moon

Glinor Jean Moon, better known as Jean, was born on August 8, 1940. She was a vibrant spirit whose presence filled rooms with warmth and laughter. She passed away peacefully on September 6, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Jean was a devoted and attentive wife, mother, and nana. Her affection for her family was evident in every aspect of her life. Her will and sassy demeanor were matched only by her deep commitment to those she loved. She was faithfully married to her husband Earl for over 30 years and loved him every day of her life.

In her leisure time, Jean found happiness in taking vacations. The simple pleasure of playing bingo brought her joy and provided countless evenings filled with camaraderie and fun. Jean had an especially tender bond with her beloved dog, Samantha.

Jean leaves behind her children Harold Cecil Ferguson, Jr and Glenda Caroline Woznick (Herb), as well as her grandchildren Alexander Woznick (Anslee Wood) and Matthew Woznick.

She is predeceased by her husband, George Earl Moon, and her parents, George C Holman and Ruby Estelle Stargel.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jean's life during visitation on September 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will immediately follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens. 

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Gables on Pelham memory care unit and their wonderful staff, and the Providence Hospice team. Their care and support were not just professional, but deeply personal, and the family is truly grateful for their kindness.
