Gloria Ellenburg Phillips, 80, wife of Jerry David Phillips, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 22, 2020.
Born in Easley, she was the daughter of the late Barney Buford and Edna Brooks Ellenburg. She was a graduate of Easley High School, Class of 1957 and Draughon School of Business.
Gloria retired from Gantt Fire and Sewer and Police District in 2008. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, loved camping, reading and spending time with family. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to her husband Jerry; are her son, David Scott Anthony (Brenda); her daughter, Terri Anthony (fiancée Mark); stepson, David Phillips; her grandchildren, Micah Balltzglier, Kristen Balltzglier Williams (Travis); her great grandchildren, Lincoln Conlee and IvyGrey Williams; and her nieces, Kim Welborn and Shannon Nealy (James, Anthony and Haley).
Gloria was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Anthony Ellenburg; her sister, Gladys Ellenburg Welborn; and her stepson Carroll Phillips.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery on Zion School Road, Easley, SC.
The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12:30pm - 1:45pm at the funeral home.
Flowers are accepted and memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children - Greenville, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
