Greenville, South Carolina

Gloria Tania Ruiz, 57, of Greenville, South Carolina, loving wife of Jerry Bufalo, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024.

Born in Loja, Ecuador, on January 5th, 1967, Tania's journey on this earth was marked by a very happy attitude towards life and all its aspects, she looked for compassion, positivism, selflessness, and unwavering love. Throughout her life in Ecuador, Tania touched the lives of many with her healing hands and comforting presence. Her colleagues remember her as a loving human, always ready to help, serve, or take care of whoever needed it, with a heart of gold, always putting the well-being of her patients above all else. Tania was known as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who radiated warmth and kindness. She exemplified what it means to be selfless, always putting the needs of her family and friends before her own, but never treating herself without the love she deserved, “It all starts within you”, she said. Her legacy of love will forever live in her family and friends’ hearts.

In her leisure time, Tania found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She embraced moving her body and feeling alive in all the possible ways, she was always doing any physical activity, her favorite ones were biking, yoga, and skiing, she was always willing to try new stuff and live, laugh, love, and dance to the maximum. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore the world, with a special love for traveling and getting to know new people, cultures, and foods, always with that positive energy for her world and our world too. Her faith made her find solace and strength for the hard moments of life, guiding her through both joyful moments and challenging times.

In addition to her loving husband of 7 years, she is survived by two daughters, Michelle and Enjy Estefania El Ghoul, both married to wonderful guys who made Tania proud, a granddaughter, Amira Bonaguro El Ghoul; and 6 loving sisters and 2 brothers. They will always remember her with infinite love and gratitude, they honor her life and teachings and will spread her words and living to the world. Just as Tania said, “It is only one life. Live to the maximum and show your unlimited love. Gratitude and abundance go together. Forgive and forget. Heal yourself and live your best life it is all in you and your decisions”.

Your daughters and family will always bring the shine and love you gave them. Love for eternity angel Mamatita Tania. Rest in peace.
