Gordon Alexander Gray, DMD

Gordon Alexander Gray, DMD, 64, of Easley, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at his residence.

Gordon was born in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late James Allan Gray and the late Irene Jessie Kelly Gray. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jeff Lake and a brother, Bernard Gray.

Gordon served his country with honor in the United States Air Force. He was a graduate of the University of North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. He later earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. When he was not working, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and scuba diving. He was also an avid reader and a coin collector. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish Gordon’s memories are his sons, Jason Lake (Mindy) and Dr. Matthew Lake (Abby): a sister, Camille Hood (Daniel). His six wonderful grandchildren will also cherish his many memories for years to come.

A Celebration of Life service to honor Gordon’s life will be announced at a late time.
