Gordon W. Patterson

Gordon Whitfield Patterson, 79, husband of Margaret Ann Lee Patterson, died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Clemson Downs.
Born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, he was a son of the late Edward F. and Addie Lazenby Patterson. Gordon grew up in Des Arc, Arkansas. He was a graduate of University of Arkansas and earned his Masters in Architecture from Clemson University. He taught Architecture for over 31 years at Clemson University.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Gordon Lee Patterson; daughter, Karon Davis both of Clemson; and grandsons, Matthew Davis and Aaron Davis.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Edward Patterson.
Memorial services will be 11 AM, Monday in the Chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
