Mr. Gordon L. Reed, 73, of Easley, loving husband of Sandra Reed, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown.
Gordon was born on March 28, 1942 in Wellsville, NY to the late Harold and Oletha Sears Reed. He received his Master's degree from Syracuse University and worked for many years in the healthcare industry. Photography was his passion, and after retirement he worked full time photographing weddings, events, and even aerial shots. He loved to R.V., camp, and travel. Gordon was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of First Baptist Church in Friendship, NY.
In addition to his wife, Sandra, Gordon is survived by a sister; Carole Mohilewsky (Alan), of Belmont, NY; a niece; Robin Mohilewsky of Atlanta, GA; and several cousins.
Memorial Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
The family is at the residence.
Flowers are optional, or memorial donations may be made to a Humane Society of one's choice.
