Our loving mother and grandmother, Grace Galloway Holder, 70, of 700 West 5th Ave, went home to be with our Lord, Monday, September 8, 2008.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Doc and Eva Fortner Galloway, she was a retired Dayco employee.
Surviving are: one son, Joe Hernandez and wife, Dee Dee, of Anderson; three daughters, Sheila Hopkins and husband, Lee, Cindy Boykin and husband, Paul, and Lisa Warren and husband, Edward, all of Easley; two brothers, J.C. Galloway of Easley and Bill Galloway of Piedmont; one sister, Lois Guckert of Syracuse, NY; four grandchildren, Joseph Soloman Hernandez, Mercedes Hernandez, Amber Grace Swanger and Amanda Stokes; one great-grandchild, Kaleb Patterson; as well as many special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by: two brothers, Charles and J.L. Galloway; and four sisters, Ruby Lollis, Alice Hester, Janice Price and Connice McGaha.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
