Grace Ellen Kelley Kay, 90, of 645 Gentry Memorial Highway, went to be with the Lord Thursday March 20, 2008 at Hospice of the Upstate.
Mrs. Kay was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Frank A. and Ila Woodson Kelley. She was a homemaker and a member of Park Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of sixty-eight years, William Edward Kay, of the home ; a daughter, Linda Ellen Grant and her husband, Richard, of Blythewood, SC ; brothers, Grady Kelley, Milton Kelley and his wife, Bobbie, Dalton Kelley and his wife, Frances, all of Central, SC ; grandchildren, Logan Stewart Grant and his wife, Brooke, of Raleigh, NC and Mariane Grant, of Corpus Christi, Texas ; a great-grandchild, Ava Grant, of Raleigh, NC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Nathan Kelley, Crayton Kelley, Marshall Kelley, Andrew Kelley, Glenn Kelley and Tony Kelley.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with the Reverend Dr. Alton Nix officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family is at the residence and will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
