Grace McCoy Finley Major, 87, of Liberty, passed peacefully Sunday, January 15, 2017 surrounded by her family at her residence.
She was born in Pickens County to the late Paul and Ollie Ramey McCoy.
Grace was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her first husband of 49 years, James E. Finley, second husband of 6 years, Waymon P. Major, two great-grandchildren, Kelby and Jeb Holden, two brothers, Troy McCoy and Kenneth McCoy, and two sisters, Nell Nalley and Alice McCoy.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jimmy E. Finley (Patty) of Anderson; daughters, Susan Bagwell (Larry) and Lisa Oglesby (Steve) all of Liberty; grandchildren, Shane Finley, Andy Finley, Lacey Holden, Andrea Powell, Kristi Harris, and Tyler Oglesby; great-grandchildren, Johnson, Sam, Karson, and Bradli Finley, Kady Holden, Jacob and Brantley Powell, Brady, Chase and Camden Harris, and Nolan and Owen Oglesby; special nieces, Sandy Owens and Wanda Richey.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 18th at 1:00 PM at Rock Springs Baptist Church, 201 Rock Springs Rd, Easley with Rev. Dr. David Gallamore officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 17th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Family will be at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made directly to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd, Anderson, SC 29621.
