Grace H. Reams

Grace Hairston Reams, 79, widow of Thomas Jefferson Reams, died Saturday, July 14, 2007 at the Oconee Memorial Hospital. A resident of Central she was the daughter of the late Anderson Bryan and Gertrude Spearman Hairston Bottoms. She was a retired textile worker, a member of Cannon Memorial Baptist Church and a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by a son, Larry D. (Patsy) Reams of Seneca, daughter, Judy R. (Roy) Price of Goose Creek, brother, Jerry (Laura) Hairston of Jacksonville, NC, sisters, Betty Jo Hairston of Iva and Martha (William) Childs of Seneca; grandson Jeff (Tamora) Price and great-grandchildren Drew, Caroline, Jackson, and Hunley of Goose Creek.

Services will be conducted on Monday at 11am in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens. The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-8pm. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058 or to the charity of choice.
