Grady L. Allsep - Easley, SC

Grady Leopard Allsep, 78, of 208 James Street, Anderson, died Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Brookside Nursing Home in Anderson.

Born in Central, he was a son of the late John Henry and Nettie Leopard Allsep. A graduate of Parker High School, he worked in maintenance for Saco Lowell and was a member of Geer Memorial Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Avanelle E. Nix Allsep; three sons, Steve Allsep and wife Glenda, Bill Allsep, Mark Allsep and wife Jessica, all of Easley; a daughter, Darla Floyd of Easley; a brother, James Allsep of Norris; two sisters, Evelyn Nicholson of Gaffney, Jeanette Mitchell of Six Mile; and five grandchildren, Dana Nichole Floyd, Jessica Allsep, Benjamin Allsep, Stephanie Ross and husband Dean, and Nathan Allsep.

Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with Reverend Harold Nicholson officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:30 PM at the funeral home.
