Grady Lewis Miller, 87, of 406 Pace Valley Road, died Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at his home.
Born in Martin, GA, he was a son of the late Carl Lewis and Nola Vaughn Miller. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served during WWII, retired from Mayfair Mills, Glenwood Division where he was a card room supervisor, and was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Gerold C. Miller and wife Jo Ann, Carl Wayne Miller and wife Margaret, David L. Miller, all of Easley; a daughter, Grady Lou Bishop and husband Billy of Easley; three brothers, Lewis Miller of Walhalla, Gene Miller of Westminster, Sam Miller of Chicago, IL; a sister, Mary Ruth Lawrence of Easley; ten grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Florence Cope Miller; a son, W. Douglas Miller; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with Reverends Mark Bishop, Dale McCoig, and Terry Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Friday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Glenwood Baptist Church; 325 Saco Lowell Road; Easley, SC 29640.
